Test Drive, Markham Mazda

Hey all,

Last night, Tues 1st, half an hour before the dealership closes, I went over and my sales person allowed me to test drive a standard around the lot (alone!). MAN I stalled so many times. :D

I think I spent 20 mins total back and forth in the lot, reversing too. No I didn\'t hit anything LOL

So after that I went back into the dealership and asked Jason what he has available on the lot, colourwise, for the Sport GT with A/C, cloth seats, moonroof, 5-MT. He told me white, orange, gray, and black. DOH!! The blue he said after going back into the office to check, was on a boat which, the shipment, will arrive in approx. 3 weeks.

I am going in tonight with the three other buyers to finalize our individual orders.

You know what\'s in my mind now? Blue... I will wait that three weeks... main reason being I think I should practice driving stick a bit more first. :D

warren, the 3 manual tranny is so easy to drive that you should just get one off the lot. everyone and their uncle has the \"winning blue\" (no offence to anyone\'s uncle :D ) so i\'d go with the white or black if i were in that situation (even though my favourite colour is blue).

besides, the best car to learn manual on is your own car. each car is different and, as long as you know the basics, you\'re good to go.

The Black is a BITCH to keep clean, but it does look really sharp.

You can\'t go wrong with the Orange though... and of course, the blue is a sharp looking car.

I wouldn\'t worry about everyone\'s uncle [ of course I\'ve got a Titaniam Gray so :P ] so the blue isn\'t a bad option if you don\'t mind waiting.

Again, I\'ll check the overflow on my way home tonight.

Per my message in \"Buying the Mazda 3\" forum, I\'ve ordered finally. It\'s the blue that\'s on the boat, arriving in three weeks. Four of the other five people who were interested or did buy, got Titanium Gray. WOW. Lucky I didn\'t choose it finally. :)

Looks like I MIGHT just make the next meet June 26th right? MAYBE... if I don\'t stall... hahaha
