Bouwmeester and Marleau are interesting, on the big ice I am a little surprised.
St Louis, Seabrook and Giroux left off.

Giroux should be on the roster. Don't think Nash should have been on the roster.

interesting St. Louis didn't make it. Gonna be a little awkward
little surprised about thorton being left off too, especially since they want some experienced guys and who better. Top 5 in points with 43 assists this year, and was just dishing out assists all kinds last tournament plus other internationals.

If he's not healthy by the time olympics start, they can replace him on the roster.

Stammer started skating a few weeks ago, he should be ready for the Olympics.
So Dreamy!

Canada should easily win 2/3 preliminary games against Norway/Austria/Finland

St. Louis should have gone instead of Marleau. Not a fan of Nash being there either. He's a shell of what he was when he was with Columbus

Thornton only plays centre so Crosby/Toews/Getzlaf/Tavares or Bergeron would have had to be dropped for him to make the team.
No matter who was chosen there would be hand wringing and disagreement with the selections. It's a no win situation for the management team

Everyone's a critic that doesn't make the team :P
I'm just glad I get to see some pucking puck! :D

I'm not surprised by Bouwmeester, with his excellent skating, he'll be an asset on the larger ice. I was surprised by Marleau though.

They have to name him now, otherwise the only way he could play is if another named player is injured before the games. It's a safe bet to name him now and then replace him if he's not ready in time. I'd rather have Stamkos than not. I'm sure they already know exactly who will replace him if he can't go.

You just better hope Canada doesnt get into the position where they are guna be stuck with the early games. Not the 7am ones im talking about, but the 330 am ones.

God dammit... that would be the worst. I like watching the game live and not seeing the replays/PVR versions.
And knowing murphy's law it's gonna be that way. Thanks for ruining my day jab lol...

i like the defence. big and tough i think is important. as for the forwards there is so much disagreement as to who should be there and blah blah blah. i read a post on yahoo sports about the 'notable' guys left out
• Eric Staal:
• Taylor Hall
• Dan Boyle:
• Corey Crawford:
• James Neal:
• Logan Couture:
• Brent Seabrook:
• Claude Giroux
• Martin St. Louis
• Joe Thornton
here's the link with the info on these players left out

I would have loved to see seabrook in there aswell giroux. but there is so much talent to choose from and it's so hard to pick these guys. we also have such dept with young players i think it's great.

I can't believe TSN interviewing guys left off the list
"how does it feel to be left off the team?"
"considering your age, did you feel like this might be your last shot to play for Team Canada in the Olympics?"

TSN is all confused and depressed that they pretty much lost nhl hockey.

I'd rather have Seabrook over Subban any day.
I hope Subban will adjust his attitude given the level of competition.

Subban is young and cocky! he's a good player. attitude is horrible.

Ya group games. I believe there are two quarter final games that are at 330 if im not mistaking or one quarter and one semi or two quarter and one semi, but i know i saw two time slots for 330 in the knockout rounds.
