Gran Turismo 4 release date

I haven\'t gone into a video game store in a while but the last time I was the clerk said that Gran Turismo 4 was due out the beginning of May. Does anyone know of the new release date?

Funny thing is that the gf has PS2 so I use it more than she does :D
Otherwise I\'m a PC gamer. BF1942, BFV, and Far Cry (kicks a$$) Too many games so little time.

But I\'m working on my GT3 career, gf hates that game now.

Ah miggiddy, you\'ve hit a soft spot with me.... I own all the PC games you\'ve listed and have had a blast with them. Call of Duty multiplayer has had me wrapped up for the last few weeks. Far Cry had an awesome single player campaign but multiplayer is not very balanced. After you die you start out with a pistol and your knife, trying like hell not to get killed by someone with a sniper rifle or a machine gun....

xbox is having an awful drought of games right now. At least, there are none that interest me at the moment. I mainly play Live enabled games, in the fall there is going to be a ton of new stuff coming out. I\'m already saving up for the Christmas rush of games. :)

Yes COD is awesome. I haven\'t played much multiplayer. Since getting Far Cry the single player has been put on hold but it\'s so intense, like MOH:AA. Haven\'t played and multi with Far Cry (I doubt a hacked version will work online)

I\'m trying to hold out on the upgrade, but might get a new cpu (3.0 gig), as I dream that one day Half-life 2 will finally arrive and take half my life away playing it.

The one game I really enjoy on Xbox is Halo, I love the multiplayer function. Reminds me of the co-op play of Quake. Too bad a game like COD or FC don\'t have a multiplayer co-op. I guess you really need a strong AI to keep it interesting. Either way a good gun fight and running thru the jungle is always fun.

I should also mention, all the mods out there. Counter-strike is ofcourse the classic, but I haven\'t played in years. Desert Combat is just sweet, mind you I\'m not very good in the air.

It seems that they\'ve pushed it back until November 2004. IGN (http://ps2.ign.com/release.html)

That\'s too bad. I can\'t wait til it comes out. I remember when GT3 first came out, I must\'ve spent at least a month just doing the licenses. But it was well worth it, cuz when I started racing it was pretty easy. Then when I got bored I went back into the licenses and kept at it til I got all the Gold licenses. GT3 is definitely the best racing game there is. In fact, I haven\'t even used my PS2 for almost a year. Just waiting til GT4 comes out.

I do prefer the Xbox, but really only because I had it modded and with a 128 GB hard drive, I can save a lot of games on there and the load times are extremely fast! :D

I\'m too lazy to get my XBox modded, I\'v seen what can be done with it and it does sound entriguing.

Wicked!!! I haven\'t been keeping up-to-date with the new games that are coming out for both consoles. However, it\'s most likely that GT4 will be on a dual-layer disc and that may mean I would have to depend on a third party to rip and burn onto a DVD-R. That may mean a loss of extras. If it does, I would probably go and buy the game. It\'s gonna be worth it, no matter what the cost.

However, with Forza, I\'ll just rent it and copy it to the hard drive ... thanks Microsoft, for designing an Xbox with a hard drive and making all this possible :p :p :p
