Any recommendations for Brand of speakers/Amps that is good?
I know bluntman is running Alpines all round, and he is happy. Any brands to avoid? Which have the best bang for the buck factor?

Everyone and their brother is getting Infinity Reference 6.5\" components or the 6x8 CS Series for a \"drop in\" installation. Whatever you get, let your ears do the listening and your wallet to do the \"OK-ing\". Spend more money on your front speakers than on the rear, or leave the rear speakers alone.

I was going to put infinity components in but I thought I would try out some audiobahn speakers. I bought a set of 6x8\" ABF series speakers/ components with crossovers and they sound pretty good. I also bought a cheaper set of 6x8\" speakers for the rears and got both pairs for $300.
