2011 Mazda 3 hatcback lights on indicator doesn't work

lights all work but the dashboard lights on indicator does not illuminate.

The dashboard light for the "high beam" come on but not the "light indicator on" on my dashboard. But when I do get out of the car .. it beeps to tell that my lights are on.. (every newer car ive seen has a lights indicator on (two eyebrows) light on the dashboard whenever they switch it to dashboard illumination and or regular lights and with high beam

The Mazda 3 does not have additional lights on the dash to indicate that the headlights are on. The model I have only has 3 settings off, parking lights and headlights. The dash lights only come on if the exterior lights are on. Higher trimlines have an auto setting too.

Have you turned the little dimmer dial to the left side of the steering wheel on the dash......

The indicator light on the dash should momentarily light when starting the car. All indicators light to check the functionality.

We assume you are speaking of the icon for the headlights on?

My GT has the green headlight indicator lamp, but I think that's mainly because my dash lights are always on. When the car is off, they black-out and are barely visible.
