As I was saying at the last meet, we might have to change the name of this forum to the \"Titanium Mazda 3 forum\" or the \"Titanium Mississauga 3 forum\". :sarc

True enough... but I am not buying a car based on a colour that people dont have. I like the grey, so why not. :p Still trying for the blue though.

Well we have to wait to hear about the blue, and if not, then the titanium grey with all the options and trim I want is on the lot. In fact I put the first ever 5KM on it :)

Very nice, I should have just ordered one when I went in to discuss a price. The model (in Titanium) I\'m after is scarce in Ontario so I used a connection at Mazda Canada to pull some strings to try grab one from Quebec. 2 weeks later I\'m still waiting to hear if grabbing the car is even going to happen. If not, I\'ve wasted 2 weeks on a potential order. :(

What model/trim were you going for? I hear sedans are tougher to get right now.

Titanium GS sedan, auto, air, power package. My connection can\'t manipulate cars on dealer lots but has the ability to manipulate cars in depots. Apparently as of 2 weeks ago there was only one of the car I was after in Ontario but there were 15 in Quebec. Quebec said it was ok to take one as long as they got a car in return. I guess that\'s now what my contact is waiting to hear back on, what is going to be exchanged.
It\'s killing me..... Slowly......

Well the decision was made for me.... Titanium Grey. Which I love no matter who has it! :p.
The blue one was in Van. and could be sent, and here in a week or two, but there apparently is some issues with CN rail and shipping cars. They WILL NOT give my dealer a timeframe of when it will show.
They told him it could be 2 weeks, or it could be 4 weeks, or even more. :sarc

Okay I\'m taking this as the proof that my car is still in Vancouver... what Morningside said about the Blue hatch in Vancouver is MY car... mofos. Trying to steal my order eh? :p
Sh!t... so it really is in Vancouver... and really is problems with CN Rail (oops, I\'ve been calling it CP Rail lately). This reeks of suckiness...

CN is what it\'s called out here in the T-Dot... Out west it\'s CP.. Canadian Pacific ;) In the end they\'re all the same thing
Hobo rail...
In the end they\'re all the same INDEED... the blame is on them for my NOT having my car yet! http://www.mazda3forums.com/images2/smilies/icon_bitching.gif
midnightfxgt - I won\'t be upset if you ordered the same car as me. I\'ve been told over and over when I started considering to just get something off the lot; go with what you REALLY want because this is an expensive commodity and you will be using it for a LONG time; the satisfaction will last the length of the time. Otherwise, if you just pick something quick and easy, the satisfaction won\'t be there.

I Hear ya Tom! Truth be told, I really couldnt make up my mind between the two... I loved the blue, and when I saw the Titanium beside it I wanted that LOL. Either of those colours is great by me. The only things I instisted on, and wouldnt budge on was the options. Although I woulda taken leather for the same price :) just not a fan of the upkeep and cracking.
Sunroofs and 5spds own!
On a good note, a guy in Ottawa looks interested in the Probe. VERY VERY sad the day that car leaves :(

midnightfxgt, I\'ve been a long time customer of Morningside Mazda, I live 5 minutes away. I originally went in there to talk about getting my 3. I talked to Joseph John and left pretty much unsatisfied. He offered me nothing on my trade and wouldn\'t move on the price of the 3.
It\'s good to hear you got some better treatment. I would suggest staying away from their service department. Every time I go in they have new people (mechanics and service people) and more than one time they have been unable to diagnose problems with my truck. They are however more than happy to charge you to look though..... Actually the last time I had my truck in for service the mechanic scratched the paint on my front right quarterpanel with his uniform while leaning into the engine compartment.
Also, I have heard that Mazda Canada has had numerous customer service complaints about Morningside. Just a heads up.... :)

Dr. Butcher (sorry, still learning names :))
Joseph is the guy I bought the car from! Wow thats surprising. He gave me $1000 off MSRP, as well as my student discount ($600).
I ended up getting the car for$26,900 out the door.
I am starting to think I will service the car at Avante, after nothing but great reviews :)

Nah, CN and CP are two different companies. They have their own continental tracks and freight network.
midnightfxgt - $26900 sounds like a good deal... if it\'s loaded as you said. Keep us posted about your car!

Went to the dealrship wanting something very specific. I was looking for the 2.3L, 5-MT sedan with GFX package. Couldn\'t find one anywhere - they were selling very quickly. Only thing my dealer had (they had several) was the same car with leather option; this wasn\'t an option for me. Luckily, when I saw the Titanium and Sunlight Silver side by side, I liked the silver as much, if not more. Glad I decided to take the silver that was on the lot - didn\'t sacrifice anything other than my first colour choice.
I agree that you should definitely go for what you want - you are going to have the car for years, so don\'t compromise on what you want...

Congrats on the Sunlight Silver. I got the same car as you did (with auto and mp3 though). Add the tint and it\'ll look amazing. I originally didn\'t want tint but am VERY happy that I did.
Where are pics of your car?
