Hey guys. I have some baaaaaad news, well bad for me atleast. I scratched my mazda 3 gt!! :( Ive only had it for 2 weeks and now its scratched! damnit....

The scratches are on the body, right above the rear wheel mouldings...I went to my mazda dealership, gyro mazda, and they gave me an estimate for around $700, taxes included.

Isnt that a lil too much or scratches?!?!

damn...what do u guys think?

Should i risk taking it into some privately owned body shop where itll probably cost less?

There\'s never a risk in going to a privately owned body shop. Many of these shops are under contract from insurance companies to repair damaged vehicles. Most likely your dealership will contract out this work to one of them anyway, if you go directly to them you\'ll skip the dealership \"surcharge\".

Collision Networks (http://canada411.yellowpages.ca/searchBusiness.do?what=collision+network&srchtype= business&city=toronto&sType=simpleSearch&action=ho meSearch&step=getDirectory&Se=smp&x=39&y=8)

I only suggested these because they do work on Tuner Transformation (http://www.tunertransformation.com).

may i recommend in the toronto area, the carstar network of franchises. they do quite a bit of work for us and i don\'t hear complaints.
-downtown fine cars a.k.a downtown collision. (high end)
-ABC Auto body repair.
may i also suggest that if you DON\'T go thru insurance, ask if they take cash, wipe out taxes and give you a good deal, worth a try.
