Licence Plate

Well I am not parting with my car so soon, at least not for another 5-10 years. I am however, no longer going to be a part of the ATAX group we have in our club. For the (at least) 3 cars bought from Erin Mills Mazda and/or who carry the ATAX prefix on their plates, I shall part from thee.

I have ordered my new, custom plates today. Unfortunately, XENON was taken, so was XENON1 and XENON 1. So I did some thinking... I decided my new, first car shall get it\'s own plate that will not be on any other car that I own in my life (unless it\'s another 3). Hopefully by the next TM3 meet, my car will bare the plate for which it was destined for...

I don\'t think dashes are allowed in Licence plates. anyone confirm or deny?

There isn\'t any dash. But you can put more than one crown in.

How much did it all come out to, Xenon? $100?

And the old plates just sit in your home now?

haha... A pair of custom plates costs $212.12 including tax. I was lucky enough for my parents to pick up that bill, or else I wouldn\'t have gotten it.

It takes 6-10 weeks for delivery of those plates, so for now, my ATAX ones are still on my car. When I get my new XENONS 3 ones, I will have to get a validation sticker and stuff, then I can put them on my car.

Good for you man, Xenons 3 is a good choice...

if you do however part with your Mazda3.. that means... well... you gotta get a BMW M3!!!! :p

I know this is a very old thread but i didn't want to start a new thread..does anyone know the cost of replacing personalized plates..my plates are like 6 years old and seen better days..
