Hello everyone, I am an avid paintballer and attend many various events and participate in the community. The spring to fall period is when all the best big games and events happen. Is there anyone who likes to play? Mag fed? Speedball? Woodsball?
My first event of the year will most likely be Fight for Asylum 3 at PRZ in April. I am excited :D

That's too bad :( There are a lot Of markers out there right now that are amazing and are being released much cheaper. But I know it can be hard to budget.

I used to play speedball at Eastie boys when they were open. I still have an old ion with a dynasty body kit, and an old MR1.
If you play at Splatters / Defcon,/ Paintball city at all, my brother plays almost every weekend with a magfed BT and Tiberius.

Oh man Ions lol, they are great. I play mag-fed but I dot frequent one field particularly. It's an expensive hobby. I like big games. I have played speedball in the past at Vaughan Extreme Paintball and the adrenaline rush is amazing, but speedball is much faster and more expensive. I live it though. I originally got into speedball by watching Oliver Lang play.

Hmm... I worked at a field for about 4 years. Played a lot.
It's been about 6 years, but I suppose I could give it a try.
Anyone know the cost of hydrotesting a small tank?

I think unless it's carbon fibre it might be cheaper to just buy a new tank

Yep. If its just a CO2 tank or an aluminum air tank don't bother, the price has really come down in new tanks.
Very expensive, and even more so back then. I was saving up for an invert mini when they were new, but could not afford the constant investments in paint and parts etc.

I know someone selling their Empire Axe for a good price if someone is interested. But yes, a new HPA tank you can get for like 40-50 bucks on a good day.

Lol well then it may be worth it to hydro the tank. Although I don't know the going rate. I would think between 30-50 bucks?

Let's list our gear? Yes, what a splendid idea!
Guns (past and present):
Past:
PMI piranha gt
PMI Evo
ICD Freestyle v2
ICD freestyle fs8
WGP mechanical autococker
Current :
2007 MacDev Cyborg (Tadao electronics)
CCI Phantom (stock class, pump) <--- all time favourite
Various masks/gear. I prefer the good old proflex over any other mask out there. Empire pants and gloves.
The list goes on...

Past:
Tippmann Phenom w/ mods
Bob Long Species Intimidator
Auto cocker
Current:
Scarab Arms TGR2 MK1
Tiberius Arms T8 pistol marker
Empire Axe
I'm pretty much set on sticking with Dye masks, the i4 has treated me well. I play mainly milsim now so I'm running ATAC FG Propper pants, Condor Operator Plate Carrier, and MARPAT shirt. I am running a Guerilla Tank on the TGR2 but prior to that I had a Ninja HPA tank and a Pure Energy Carbon Fibre.

I imagine there must be some nice fields out in Ontario. Haven't played in almost a decade but always wanted to check out whats out around here, will need to attend a walk on this year or something.
Got the following dust covered gear in my basement.
Autococker 98 STO
Autococker Custom built (Canadian cocker)
Pro Carbine

You are very right. There are tons of really nice fields in Ontario right now. My favourite is PRZ paintball. It's an abandoned mental institute, and I mean like
you have firefights in actual buildings stairwells, kitchens, and
rooms. There are other nice ones like Georgina and Adrenaline.

It works well there because it can get so pitch black. I will be up there for Fight for Asylum 3 on April 12. Just so epic!
