View Full Version : Resident Evil 2
I find it pretty cool they used Toronto as the backdrop for this movie! No surprise the name of the fictional city is RACOON CITY...

I remember when they closed the Bloor Viaduct to film a scene for the movie last summer.

They shoot tons of movies around Toronto. I usually see the pylons indicating there\'s a movie shoot going on a few times a month out here in the east end.
Funny enough, I caught Angel Eyes (with J Lo) a while back and it was supposedly taking place in Chicago. A few times throughout the movie you could see the CN Tower as plain as day.
Also, if you have ever seen Pushing Tin with Billy Bob Thornton and John Cusak, a few scenes were shot at Ted\'s Restaurant around the corner from my house. They even used it\'s real name in the movie. Ahh, my local diner, famous for more than blocked arteries. :D

Looks like a good sequel and it appears that a lot of the characters look like the ones in the video game series.

I agree but i have to admit that it contributed to my paycheque while it was in town filming. So like that dude before the movie says...... DON\'T STEAL MOVIES....... What do I care. I get paid either way.

Lot of shooting and the characters we\'re very similar to the PS2 game.
Oh and some funny previews before the film. Some Brit movie called Sean of The Dead.

Yeah Sean of the dead looks like it is full of that weird Brit humour :)
The movie is FULL of Toronto. They didnt try to hide it. The last scene was clearly City Hall
