Just go my new Mazda 3 GX tonight, picked it up after work. I have so many questions; just don’t know where to start.

I guess the break noise is normal at first, but kind of a burning smell, is this normal at first?

I noticed a cable under behind the rear stabilizer bar, or axel, or whatever it is, and in the middle is a connector, looks to me that it would corrode in the winter, any feedback on this?

There was no rubber on the topside of the rear winder, right where the truck closes, is this normal?

Does anyone know the km rating of the factory tires? Feel kind of soft to me.

Well that’s all for now, I am so happy with my car so far, the colour is indigo blue, and I think it looks great.

Congrats on the purchase!! Not sure about that cable under the rear stabilizer I would have to see a picture of it. Your tires should last you for at least 60,000km under normal driving conditions of course.

That burning smell of oil I believe is normal. First day or so I had my car I could smell it. It\'ll go away and you\'ll be left with that \'new car\' scent (gotta love that) :) enjoy.

The burning smell has passed, and there is still the new car smell, which most people who looked at my car, positively like; I think there is addictive chemicals in the new cars, to make people want new cars.

Ack! Mornigside? Let me know how you find their service department if you plan on taking it there. I have not had many positive things to say about their service recently. It seems every time I go in they have different people working so employee turnover is high. They really don\'t know how to answer your questions and they\'ve had my truck in a few times and not been able to fix problems (and they\'re mazda specialists).
