No noises before the install.
I got some H&R coils now, and they ran perfect after install. A short while later, started making creaking noise.
Things we've tried:
- Replacing the top hat including the part with the bearing
- Remounting (several time)
- Putting automotive grease on the old top hat.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Oh, and the noise is coming from the front right which is where we've tried everything.

did you check the preload of the springs?

How would I go about doing that exactly?

Congrats on the H&R coils bud!

I haven't had the chance to install mine yet but I'll let you know if I run through the same issue lol

How does it ride?!

Thanks for the video. I'll try to do that tomorrow. Weird, they were both set identical before mounting, and the left doesn't seem to be making any noise, but will definitely rule it out. Thanks.

Thanks a lot! You'll love them, quite stiff but I haven't scraped at all... Pretty epic, haha

The weird thing is, after install it's silent. It gets progressively worse with more driving.
And this time it's worse than ever... :(

It's most likely that, I had the same sound after installing my coils and I readjusted the pre load and it went away. Also should check the bolt underneath the damping knob, mine was loose and it was causing a similar sound as well

So basically, take off all or just the one coil? And set it so that the coil is just barely compressed (a few mm?) and then put the car on the ground? Do you drive around a bit before you lower the height then?

Thanks a lot for your help!

You can adjust the preload with the coil in the car, same with the top bolt if it's loose which I don't think that's the problem.
