I'm not nearly done with the tune...it wouldn't make great numbers right now (probably 280whp or so). I kind of gave up last fall when the weather turned cold and I put my winter tires on without ringing out the rest of the power. I can probably pick up another ~20hp from timing alone (only running 12 degrees at redline). That and my clutch is still moody and slips on occasion, even in 4th gear.

The self tuning has paid off though in the sense that I understand stuff better, VD says I gained power over the OTS tunes, and seat of the pants feels better.

It's dynojet...not 1.01 CF so it's a little high. Like I said, the numbers would be pretty weak on the dyno. Funny enough I've pulled boost/load down low compared to the OTS map :|

A few things to keep in mind.

1. This is a dyno day. The dynamometer is a tool to measure the power your car produces at the wheels. It's your responsibility to make sure the car is in good running form. If your crap can craps out on the dyno and holding everybody else up...you're not gonna have a good time.

2. If your car has issues on the dyno that will require on the spot diagnosis and fixing, Brian will charge you shop time @ $100/hr.

3. ***BRING YOU WHEEL LOCKS*** Your front wheels will have to be removed to hook up to the hub.

4. Bring a camera.

5. Bring CASH.

6. Be open-minded and chat with other like minded ppl.

My bats were at 150F+ for this run so i.m very happy with the results. I upgraded to a 3" intake since the last dyno day and have been working on the tune with Vince since then. Hp and tq is up right across the board with the new intake.

As long as the car feels strong. With the max whp number we are talking about a number right at the top of your rpm range. If you're making good power throughout the rest of the range the car will feel and drive strong

It feels very strong. When I switched to 255 tires earlier this spring I lost the slight wheel spin in 3rd, its back again now.

I've been working with him for over a year to get to the point where I am now, swapping out and adding new parts along the way. I've enjoyed every moment of it, seeing the car progress with every new addition and tune. All I can say is be patient, it will pay off.
