Hi guys,
I just want to say that I've researched my question multiple times but I need some clarification because the dealer isnt giving me a straight answer.
I want to add cruise control to my base 3 and so far I have come across 2 possible part numbers for the piece I need: BEH3-66-4M03 OR BBM5-66-4M0C.
When I called the dealer I asked what's the difference between the two and he couldn't explain. I then told him what I was trying to do and he gave me a completely different number of BGV4-V7760 at a price of 258.97.
When I asked him to look up one of the part numbers I provided he told me that the BEH3-66-4M0C was 387.46.
I've found that same part on eBay for $150.
Is anyone able to confirm that this is the part I need? I'm aware that I'll need to have the dealer program my car afterwards.
Thanks in advance.

The BGV4-V7-760 is the accessory kit from Mazda. It gives you a new brake switch and the buttons for the wheel. You also get the audio buttons too IIRC.

Thanks for the reply,
Every link I've found says that the brake switch doesn't need to be replaced on 2011+ models, only 2010.
But if I understand this correctly, the part number he gave me is essentially the new plastic steering wheel piece that's includes with the 2 part numbers that are listed above, but with another brake switch? I can't see that being true since they told me it was cheaper than what they quoted me for the 2 I found.
I apologize if I'm misunderstanding this, just trying to get a straight answer before I make sure I purchase the right part.
Thanks.

you're better off finding someone selling the steering wheel with the buttons on it. They're not hard to find online. I picked up a gen 1 GT wheel with cruise for $60 on ebay and the brake switch for $15 and it was plug and play. I got the buttons and a leather wheel to replace the rubber one. And i got a Gen 2 wheel with cruise and bluetooth off someone here for a good price. I'm working on seeing if i can get the bluetooth module and have it cal'd on like the cruise

Never thought to replace the entire steering wheel. I found one on eBay but it only had the radio buttons and not cruise, but the price was cheaper than this kit the dealer sells. That's amazing.
If I decide to purchase the kite and keep my existing steering wheel I'd still like to know which part number is the correct one.

I may have a steering wheel around that has the cruise and volume controls. I would have to see tomorrow.

Oh, if I had seen this before, I am actually driving to Ottawa today, and I could have possibly brought something with me. I could ship it, it would be at your cost though :P
Full wheel would cost you more than just the buttons. Buttons can be removed and are much smaller to ship.

Yeah I would likely just want the buttons.
Send me a pm including your price. Appreciate it!

Just an update:
I'd also like to give a big +1 to Reddie for hooking me up with the steering wheel controls, and also Sivart444 for delivering them to Ottawa!
The install was overall quite smooth, just one hickup due to a missing adapter piece for the horn which I just bypassed by cutting the wires from the harness and soldering them to the horn wires on the airbag. The radio controls worked instantly, but still had to go to the dealer to activate cruise.
Just had the car in at the dealer this morning, they charged me half hour labour to enable the cruise control feature and everything works just fine.
Big thanks to Ryan and Travis!

Damn, how much did the whole thing cost you? I didn't even think an upgrade like this was possible \o/

$100 for the steering wheel controls from Ryan ($150 or so on ebay).
And $55 to have the dealer activate it (half hour labour)

No, Bluetooth is it's own separate module.
