Hey guys, my name's Kyle.

I've been hanging around the site for a little while now gathering up as much info as I could and just yesterday I picked up my 2012 Mazda 3 GC/AC.

Let me tell you, it's a big impact on the wallet going from a 2002 Dodge Dakota (getting roughly 10 mpg) to this nice new Mazda which is rated at like 27 city and 38 highway or some other. I'm loving it.

And I know that pics should always be required so I snapped one just after I had my plates put on at the dealer:

First things I'm going to do are:
-Tint the Windows
-Find a nice pair of alloy wheels. I really like the 18" MS3 Wheels - will the 2.0L be able to turn these without issue? I think my research has shown they will fit.
-Install factory cruise control
-HIDS (maybe)
-Transfer the sub and amp outta my truck and put them here.

Anyways, look forward to chatting with yall!

Welcome!

In my opinion, if you just get 18" wheels, your car will be very tall. You should lower it, then get 18". I know there will definitely be a wheel gap, my 2013 on stock wheels and everything has a noticible wheel gap. Alot of people on this forum recommends eibach prokits, drop your car by about 1.2"

I haven't decided between a 17 or 18 just yet. I can get a pair of 17 inch OEM wheels for a good price used right now.

And if 18" lifts the car no problem! I'm coming from a lifted Dodge Dakota hahaha.
