Finally, I get to pick up my car today around 4pm. So excited and I need to drive to Trenton for the weekend which will help to break it in nice and smoothly. Add another MZ3 to the roads in the GTA and expect another one at the meets, excluding august 7th as i\'m already busy that day.

Cool, congrats!

Nice colour too. A guy at work has one, I usually see it out the window in the parking lot, while I park mine at the far end away from everyone :)

2.0 Powah :)

It\'s pretty interesting to see Candians buying more 2.0 3s than Americans - when comparing posts on MZ3Forums...

I went with the 2.0 for the fuel economy commuter car but even with 148Hp i think it is the most powerful stock 2.0 currently available by all car companies. The Neon might be up there but not sure.

As for the colour, i\'ve seen it on the road and sometimes it appears as purple. Not so sure i like that.

Not Many 2.0 owners would go to something like a car club or Forum.

Majority of the active members and those who attend car meets have GTs.

I know - I had to have a sunroof and wasn\'t going to spend about $2000 more to get one in a GT w/GFX :)

I got the 2.0L also, didn\'t feel the extra 12HP was worth the drop in fuel economy and the added purchase cost. When you have 4 mountain bikes sitting in the basement worth a combined total of $12K, you need to save money somewhere so you can feed that addiction. The 148HP is a dream compared to my 105HP 1.5L 1998 Protege. I find this car quick enough off the line so I\'m real happy with my decision.

Well, I considered 2.0 when shopping for my 3, but I want to have 5drs/Sport model, so the only choice is 2.3.

I hear you RBART. I have to purchase a ring soon, along with the finances for a wedding and then the cost of a preliminary honeymoon and then more money for the real honeymoon. The car was an unexpected purchase which threw a kink in the plans but a worth while purchase, that\'s for sure.

Well, I drove my car all weekend and have 650Km\'s on it in only 5 days. The fuel light just came on so I know that we can push these cars to 750Km\'s per tank and that will leave the car running on fumes. We are definitely safe to drive 700 which is amazing. One of the best commuter car\'s i\'ve ever purchased.

Was this all hwy driving? Unfortunately I do alot more city driving and I personally think it has been average for fuel consumption. :(

Ya, that was all HWY driving. I did some math and it worked out to 33mpg or 14.44km/L. With the 45 litres that we have to work with before the fuel light comes on that works out to 650km\'s or so. Pretty sweet in my books. Good job most of my driving is hwy.

The my average is 9.45 L/100 km.... works out to something like 575 KM for 55 L. But I do mostly mixed driving. I have yet to consume one whole tank on pure highway.
