New thread for new ideas.

I organized the original "Zoom Zoom" pic and we had just under 200 cars. If we can reach 3 hundred cars, we can make history...

Might I suggest that we just do something like this on our own? Step away from the Oshawa airport and the 5K event. The charity part is great but I have this feeling that people dont attend because of how the event operates. There is always the headache of leaving etc. I just want to put this out there in advance to get people thinking. What is we did mazda warehouse parking lot or something like that. We can take our time and do it how we want etc.

I have a friend who has made his own aerial copter that maybe we can use his services for that day. Of course if the even is held at the airport again, I am not sure if he would be able to do it as he is still getting his certification etc. Just more logistics that would need to be worked out.

Yup, like I mentioned before, I'm very excited to do this again, and always down to help as much as I can. Doing it on our own is an interesting idea; could definitely be easier in some ways.

I know last year we opened up "same day payments" to allow maximum people to attended.

With the amount of time between now and the event there should be no "I am in... pending I am free". You wont be free that weekend because THIS is what you are doing.

A space like the Mazda warehouse would be nice, except I don't think the space is large enough.
The benefit to the airport is more space to work with, and a control gate to make things easier for registration and check in.

I felt getting everyone lined up for the pic was really smooth and great. Everyone's in lines and you send one line at a time to the spot and then have ppl guide one car at a time to the right spot and then you're done. Was great and well done. I too would enjoy having just the pic again so that way we have something to take from the event again to show off :)

The actual execution took like maybe 20 minutes max and it was done. They just need time to work out the numbers as you don't know how many cars until you get them all through.

I really don't care what happens, just having a crazy number of mazdas doing something in one spot is a cool experience in itself.

I actually have the connection to make this kind of thing happen. We've used the SkyService hangars multiple times for shoots.

$1K/hour isn't what it would cost us. Let me make a call tomorrow and see what we can pull.
