Hey I just have a quick question and I googled it and found a mix of answers never one straight one so I'm gonna ask here:

Do I need a camber kit if I lower my car in springs? I believe it should be about a 1.76"-2.0" drop?

At that drop , I'd say yes.

I needed them on my prokits drop so most likely yes.

I didn't need one for my prokit, and I'm 0.1deg still within the original spec in the front, and well within limits on the back.
Something to think about - and I'm no suspension expert, so maybe I'm missing something... but you can't adjust the camber in the front, so a rear camber kit isn't going to save you up front anyway. Furthermore, a lot of people roll with a bit of camber on purpose. You're not going to be wildly out of spec, so you may not need to worry about it.

Also note - getting a camber kit will mean you will probably be charged more for alignments going forward even if they don't touch the camber.

The word "need" is much too strong in this case

Subscribed because I need to write out details here later.

Just pulling this one bit out because I agree with everything else and no need to rewrite it. The front doesn't gain much negative camber when you lower because it is a strut design. So no need to worry there.

Rear camber isn't much of an issue, and if you have a bit much just have the toe adjusted to be closer to zero, that will minimize wear on your tires.

they can adjust the rear camber a little bit with your alignment. im lowered 2" with no camber arms, they were able to get my alignment within spec at true center here in guelph

I think these two posts pretty much sums things up. A lot of people will wring their hands and tell you that you absolutely must install a camber kit, but really just keep an eye on your tire wear and get your alignment done (and as Aitch said, ask for it to be closer to zero in the front) and you should be fine.

A near 2 inch drop is going to need camber arms. I'll take a video of a 2 inch drop in a sec.

As you can see, the rears gain quite a bit of toe, and my toe is zero'd for my ride height.

Hey guys I've got the three new springs in and just the driver side left strut is left but I can't seem to break the nut at the top of the strut does anyone have any ideas??

Pb blaster. Lots of it. Then wait 15 minutes. Then do it again.
You can use a torque wrench to jar it lose, and then the allen key to get it the rest of the way off.

Don't I need to have an Allen key in while I use a wrench?

Not to break it loose

Can I crack it while it's still in the car?

By torque wrench you mean impact gun? Because you shouldn't be using torque wrench to loosen things up.

Er yes, i totally meant that. I could barely think of the word torque wrench, and that was the closest i could get apparently.
