Hi Everyone!

Glad to be part of TM3! My family has owned Mazdas for a while now from a 2001 Protege, a 2013 CX5, and now to my latest purchase, my first car, an '09 Mazda3.

I bought the car just before winter so I couldn't enjoy it to its full potential but now that summer has finally rolled around, I LOVE IT! I can't get enough, such a fun ride, and I really enjoy modifying it and making it my own. I have an '09 M3 with GT-L package (I believe that's what its called) and I've been slowly customizing it.

What I've done so far;
• Tints (20s in the front, and Limos all around the back)
• Flowspeed Short Ram Intake
• Axela badge
• Chome pedals
• Painted calipers black
• LED fog lights
• Plasti-Dipped Spoiler black

I'm looking for some new modification ideas as well (for a reasonable price), so please send them my way. And let me know what you guys think.

Welcome.

Rims are always an option but more expensive. You Could buy a second set of OEM for cheap and powder coat, which would still be cheaper than a used set and reuse your current tires.

You can also plastidip rims, gauge cluster trim, dash trim, and circular vents which all come out and can be plastidipped easily and cheaply enough. Emblems as well. Don't go overboard lol, but it does peel right off

Gen1 hatches look good with an open mouth grill.

Rear sway bar?
Prokits?

Thanks for the welcome,
I would love to get a new set of rims, but I don't have the funds right now, however, it's definitely something that will happen soon... maybe next summer. I'm not a huge fan of the 'snowflake' rims I have.

And my first attempt on plasti-dipping the spoiler actually worked out pretty well, I might do a few things here and there, thanks for the recommendation.

Any idea where to get a fairly priced grill? And do they come painted?

And I know there must be all kinds of threads on prokits and sway bars, but being the noob that I am would you mind sending me some details on both (price and recommendations)

Thank you!

Sent a huge PM with details. As for the grill: PM Nextmod for pricing: they have new open mouth grills or find an old used one. DIY paint.
