Sorry if this is a noob question, been looking through threads on tm3 and msf for an hour already without finding an answer.

I have the corksport sri+tip on my speed. I just got the v3 accessport and applied the corksport stage 1+sri ots map. Is it still required to scale the entire map due to difference in housing size over stock? Or would the intake specific map already have that scaling done and only require tweaking each breakpoint set based on my datalogs?

Of the top of my head my first good log reading was showing approximately -12.5, -7.6, -5.4, -1.6.

Thanks

The OTS maps are a starting point and have a rough calibration. However every MAF sensor (and o2 sensor, etc) is a little different which leads to slight variations intake to intake, car to car, and hence the need for a MAF calibration.

If you have LTFT's that aren't within +/- 3 or so, you should be doing a round or two of MAF calibration. If those -12.5, -7.6, -5.4, -1.6 are your LTFT values, you definitely need to do a calibration.

So should I still start by scaling the entire map by 1.313 (3" corksport vs stock) then adjusting each breakpoint set?

Exactly which intake do you have?

Exactly which map are you using?

Give us links to both...it's kind of important.

Ok so you don't have the 3" intake, you have a normal stock sized MAF housing intake. There is no scaling necessary, just do a MAF cal.

Alright sounds good, thanks for the help
