I think I like the silver accents on the doors.

Can you give us any info on it?

Brand
Where you bought it from
Price
Ease of install - I assume it\'s taped

Thanks DINU!! Thats a compliment! They are stock units that were taken off and painted. I would say about 2-3coats of primer, 4-5 coats of paint, and 4-5 coats of clear, and wet sanded at the end :)

If you guys wanted closer pics to show the quality lemme know! :)

Thanks to Lynne (Imwitty) for the panels, as I purchased her old set, and used them. I am keeping my stock ones just in case ;)

Nice jobs!

What\'s the colour of the engine cover? Grey or some metallic colour?

About the interior door trims, do they stick? My friend painted some interior panels on her Protege and they have the paint stickiness which I hate. I would like to paint mine silver as well, what paint did you use?

The engine bay is painted with \"New Ford Grey\" in the Hi-Heat DupliColour stuff.

The trims are NOT sticky. I used auo primer, auto laquer, and auto clear. All from crappy Tire. As long as you take your time, and do it right this stuff will last for ever. my other cars lasted 2 years+ and the paint was great when I sold them :)

Awesome colours there, midnightfxgt! Looks like you literally spent the whole weekend painting! Those aren\'t the OEM chrome blinker rings are they? I thought the OEM ones were a little \"lop-sided\" if you know what i mean. These look nice! Now you got an Oakley car. :p

The trim and engine cover are awesome looking! Wish I had the patience and time to do something like this. Good work, Lil John! :)

Thanks guys!

Tom, Saturday was nice, and I would just run out occasionally and throw on another coat. It took the better part of an afternoon to do all this.

The blinkers arent the OEM japanese ones. I couldn\'t warrent the $60+ for them, for what they are they arent worth that much. I got these off eBay for $13 shipped lol.

One more question, how do you remove the door inserts from the door?

how about the paint brand and its $, and where did you buy the paint? cause I went to Walmart, it doesn\'t have any high heat paint at Auto department.

I think it looks great...but the \"DOHC 16-Valve\" is in PURPLE? OK, I\'ll give you that. Awesome job despite the purple lettering. :D

At least it looks purple in the photo.

Check another Walmart.

I went to Oakville Walmart they have no high-heat/engine paint. South Common Walmart in Mississauga carry some high-heat paint but not all the colours. If you don\'t mind ~$1 difference, go buy them at crappy tire.

Thats the stuff I used! ^^^^^^ Except i didnt use th white as a primer. (I had used this paint before an new it covered well, so I saved $7 :)

As for the inserts, they were painted with Crappy Tire auto laquer, and the clear.

The inserts.... pry up the edge, and the back end (facing the rear of the car) and slide it back. It will pop out! :)

How do the door inserts match with the other silver parts in the car?

That\'s one thing I was thinking on doing but I just need to find a good match. Mind you I haven\'t really looked.
