Hey all,
I have a 2008.5 Mazdaspeed3 (most of you know, just stating)
With the following mods:

-COBB SRI
-COBB TIH
-COBB APV3
-AutoTech Internals
-UR RP
-CNT CBE

Currently running a Stage2 SRI+TIH 91 OTS map Untill I get my desired bolt one then dyno time.

My question today is, why the f#*+ would I be running too rich at idle? I get a code once in a while and I just delete it. There's no real pattern of when it comes on and I commute 100km roughly a day. Wondering if this is just poor maf cal (this is what stratified tuning suggested) or some more complex issue that some other members are having. My hpfp drops to about 350 after ripping or tapping my pedal for the pops (rice yes) and starts to make it's way back to around 440-450 which it usually sits at during idle (also I'm using motul 5W-40 if that helps) .. Highs are around 2075 psi as I don't have downpipe yet. My AFR are either 14.7 on the dime or just a tad below (14.5-14.6) and I've been monitoring fuel trims but don't really know what to make of that. Anyways any input would be greatly appreciated, it comes and goes and still pulls hard and no issues as of now but would like a resolution http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/21/nuqy8emy.jpg

Btw this hpfp low was because of when I turned the car on after a small period of it being off I guess there was pressure in the pump still Idunno

My vote is for maf cal. That said i ran the same setup for a while with no issues, but symptoms seem to fit.

Take a log of it happening, get back to us. Hard to diagnose otherwise. A log will show if the maf cal is off (LTFT/STFT's) or if something else is happening.

2075psi on HPFP has nothing to do with lack of downpipe, more likely a dirty relief valve.

Wait I thought 2075 psi was good, how high goes your hpfp go?

Over 2000psi is not so good, I might see 1900 when letting off after a pull which is normal, but never that high.

Like I said, get us a log of the problem.

HPFP goes about high 1800s normally.
I got a code for too rich at idle too, it's been ongoing :(

Yea HPFP numbers aren't like "moar is better!!!!!" Good numbers are stable under load. But AP min max values are useless. Logs ftw

Might sound like a dumb question , but I have yet to view a log, therefore idont know how to post them either. If someone wants to run me a quick tutorial that would be mint lol

Went back to stage 1 + SRI & TIH 91 OTS map and my car is running a bit better no engine light since I posted this thread so I'm gonna post logs but I'm guessing it's just calibration

Ok I'm uploading a log tnite, during the log when I was letting car idle after my commute the engine light came on, so hopefully this log is effective in telling you guys what's up

What code(s) did it throw?

And the other code started with a U, apparently it comes on when a reoccurring code pops up?
