Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right section to post this (sorry mods if it isn't). I have some rust on my roof and liftgate that I talked about on this forum before that I want to get repaired. I heard lots of good things about 427 auto collision and they seem to have experience with mazdas as well. The problem is, they are way too expensive. I got quoted roughly $ 2000 for the work on my car. I also tried UniBody collision and they are much cheaper, but I got a bad feeling about them. The guy seemed to be throwing out a lot of buzzwords and jargon, and what I read about them isn't too confidence inspiring. Oh, I also took my car to the dealer I bought it from and they say the rust isnt covered under warranty because there is no perforation yet (as if I will wait for it to get that bad lol).

So is there any body shop around etobicoke or mississauga that is known to do quality work at reasonable prices ? I need to act fast on this so if anyone knows of a place, I would really like to know !

What did these repairs consist of? The best would be if they cut out the rusted part and replaced it. But I don't think they'd do that for the roof or liftgate (but I could be mistaken). Prices would differ on how much work they'd actually put in. Is it simply sand, bit of bondo, blend the paint, clear then buff or a full panel job. Also ask if there is some kind of warranty - one or two years seems to be the norm.
The place I'd go to is in Scarborough - Velocity Auto Body. Members in 'sauga may know other shops.

"Reliable" and "cheap" is scary when used in the same sentence LOL

But I've heard good things with that dude that works with the dude that fixes all the Mazda3 dudes' cars.
