arrived much quicker than expected...placed the order last week, arrived today, can\'t wait to install them and complete my Axela conversion ;)

Dude....very sweet...are those what I think they are? LED taillights...
So here come the questions.
How much did they cost?
Are they easy to install?
Post pictures up asap once you get them installed!
Yes...they are what you think they are...JDM LED taillights :)
cost $510 with shipping...I couldn\'t figure out how to install them so I guess I\'ll be bringing them into Avante to have them installed

JDM Axela badge = rice
JDM LED tail lights = nice
Substituting one market\'s trim pieces for another market\'s trim piece (Axela badge, LED tail lights) is one think, but calling one rice and another not doesn\'t make sense to me. Advertising something that you don\'t have on or in you car is rice.

I was playing devil\'s advocate, since on M3F you can\'t do anything to your car without it being called \"Rice\". See my post in thread on \"LED Crazee\" on M3F.
I\'m just a little tired on M3F where if you want to do anything to your car, people call it rice so in the post I challenged Axela badge owners.
Honestly the Axela badge has got me thinking...I like it but just don\'t know if its appropriate. I\'m torn between it now, but if I had those JDM tail lights, I would put the Axela badge for sure.
Anyways, to each their own. Sorry if I offended you in the other post Bluntman.

The Axela badge has grown on me...especially if you own a hatchback, the right side seems so empty. I\'m a little hesitant about removing the \"3\" beside Mazda if I get an Axela badge. I guess we\'ll see when I get my hatch.
So far, I haven\'t seen a Mazda 3 with the Axela emblem on. All th 3s I\'ve seen have just Mazda3 on the back. I guess I\'m not running into any of the forum members on the road.

I don\'t think it\'s RICE. Anything you add to your car to make it JDM that is a factory part shouldn\'t be considered RICE at all. Now windshield washer led\'s and stuff like that are RICE.

Oh God... I saw a modded white Civic last night (can\'t remember which exact intersection, vaguely recalling the car turning eastbound coming south off Kennedy onto Hwy7) and they set up their windshield washer LED\'s to blink as they signal!!!!! I almost doubled over in my driver\'s seat with laughter...

Axela badges and LED lights are not rice. It\'s the equivalent of the Japanese market MZ3. Now putting a 2.3 badge on a 2.0 is rice

are the revers lights LEDs too? If not, why do they ship the reverse lights? Cant you leave them stock?
And what about the yellow signals? LEDs also?
Reverse lights are the same as stock...but they come as a set with the tails and you can\'t buy them seperately without them. The turn signals are NOT LEDs...uses a standard bulb but the lens over it is clear. I might swap in Philips SilverVisions to make them completely clear.

They look great man!! Yeah I found it wierd that the hatch lamps were the same as the one\'s we have in N.A. So what\'s next?
I\'m pretty much done for now...maybe rims after winter. The ones I want are incredibly expensive though. :( Rays GramLights 57C or Volk Racing GT-C.
I\'ll get shocks sometime down the line or maybe a cup kit.

Looks great \"autoexe\". I think my fav. part is the University of Toronto decal. I have my \"UofT Engineering\" decal on the back of my Sport GT also.

Most of the \"goodies\" are thanks to the Mazdaspeed Axela in Japan... which happens to only come in hatch form.
Somehow I think that the Mazdaspeed3 (when it comes to North America) might come in sedan... I donno why, but it might.

My vehicles at work got LED taillights on them years ago... what\'s so special? :D j/k
I would like a U of T decal on the back too... but my car has 15% tint on the back not sure if the decal will show.
