Just wondering how little KM\'s were on your odometer when you picked up your car.

I was shocked when i got mine and there was only 3KM\'s on it. I was so excited i took a picture (http://photos.teambedlam.tv/displayimage.php?pid=639&fullsize=1)

Sorry about the pic being a little fuzzy. i was so excited i forgot to hold the camera still.

There were 2KMs on mine when I went in to sign for it this Saturday. They let me take it for a spin so I put another 1KM on it.

17km where approximately two of those kms were put on when they drove my car to the local gas station before I took delivery.

Really it was zero? usually there\'s something on it. They get tested off the line and they have to be driven on and off trailers and shipping containers.

I\'d prefer it to stay at 1500 Km... then it\'s out of the brake in period... I can drive it hard :p

I just have to go for a wedding on a weekend in Sept. It\'s only the 2nd time I\'ve ever been there, but I figure my bf and I will stay and do some sightseeing for a couple days.

Personally, I wouldn\'t be driving my car that far if I didn\'t have to. I\'d like to keep the km\'s as low as I can, but with my boyfriend being 250 km west of me it doesn\'t help.

Have fun. It\'s a great town with lots to see. As for keeping the KM\'s Low.... I agree... for the first bit. But then that desire fades as you begin to enjoy driving it and want to drive more and more and more... Is there an AA for Mazda Drivers?

2 km when they first received the car, I test drove it before I took delivery so that put on about 10 km. When I picked it up it had 15 I believe.

Mine had 3 on it as well. They filled it up for me which probably added a km onto it as well.

this is turning into a very depressing process. Everyone seems to promise you everything but when it comes down to it and the end of the day they just want a sale :( (But I still got a really good price)

Yep if only I had my camera =P. Also im sure the engine is tested but once the engine drops in the od meter is already set to 0 so it wont show the test klms. I think all they did was move it off the truck to the lot then on train to truck to my dealer. So in essence it didnt total even 1k =)
:p

I was more refering to the old practice of road testing each car. Or don\'t they do that anymore?

So you got in an order now for a black 5-speed? Don\'t worry, we pretty much all go through the run around game with dealerships. It\'s expected. Sometimes it really isn\'t their fault but most of the time it is.
