My 2008 M3 is the base model, so it does not have any fancy gadgets, which is fine, since it is a great car. However, something that I really miss from my other car is the heated mirrors. I understand some models have heated mirrors. Adding some wires and relays to activate with the rear window defrost should not be too hard, unless the pin is already available at the plug under the kick panel, and tapping into it would make it even easier. Any ideas or suggestions? I don't have the wiring manual for the car, so if anyone could post the diagram for this circuit, it would be of great help. Thank you.

if you have power locks/windows, then the wires are already there... just swap the entire mirror housings over from a GT which had heated mirrors and you're good to go!

That's amazing to hear. Now to find heated mirrors myself as I've always wanted them on my car lol.

Thanks for the suggestions and links :). My car is the basic model with manual mirrors, but running new wires and switches is not an issue. I'll get the GT mirrors or the kits from the links and do the swap.
