I have completed the first steps such as Exhaust, Headers & Intake System. What else can I do to make my Mazda 3 2.0 faster? or recommended first?

My thoughts every day about my 3. I love the car but uts just not enough. Should I even buy a header exaust for my 2.0? Is it worth it OP. I know you can feel it a lot more in a 2.3 :(

Your not going to get much faster without spending big $$$. And after that point it really makes more sense to buy a faster car like mentioned above.
OP, what are you hoping to get out of your car power wise? Are you looking to go fast or just a bit quicker?

Depends on your goals and how deep your wallet is. If you upgrade to an MS3, you're gaining more than hp/trq. Brakes, suspension etc.

strap some fireworks to the car, legit street cred right there lol
for our kinds of cars, its best to extract speed through handling. so look into suspension, wheels and tires. then learn to use all that to your advantage. if you must have more power, look into a turbo kit

With those mods alone you are probably just wasting more gas then making the car actually fast, the 2.0 is a pure eco-box engine.
If you want to go fast, just buy a speed (or something with a turbo) and don't waste your time or money.

Then mod the speed, go faster, blow engine, build race engine, blow race engine, stock out, sell car for parts, buy new car, and repeat. Haha.

what is ur definition of fast. fast on the street, or fast on the track? straightline, or corners. money, or skill?
know what ur goals are, and work on achieving them.

2.slow is a no go.... Speed or better... Or 2.3/2.5 with awesome suspension...

Hello all,
New to the forum.....
Just got a 2008 mazda 3 2.0L and using it as a daily driver but want some mods on it.
Looking online for an exhaust but can't find anyone in the gta that stocks a good one. The local shop wants 5 bills to do one. Can any suggest anything ( other than getting rid of it)

Hey, I'm new to the forum too...
I am actually considering on getting an MS3.. since my friend just bought one and I got to test drive it. If performance is important, in my perspective, I would just save the money that you're putting on a 2.0L engine to try and up the hp/trq and just buy an MS3.
I have a 2.0L sedan GX... It's slow I know.. even if I do basic mods.. but I wanna buy the mods and try to install it myself to get to know it myself since I am a new Mazda owner. I know more on Civics and I just bought a mazda because... racecar... lol but because I wanna learn the mazda world.
Still a rookie here... :) lol

500 is not unreasonable for a catback system.

Mat at OVtuning has turbo kits for 2.0 and 2.5L. I think they are $3899.
