If Ford sold this version here I bet it would be a great seller.

Yeah, it sure looks nice.
I wonder if it drives better than what they sell here.
I feel the same way... maybe it\'s the all-love to Mazda3 and all other direct competitors to the Mazda3 are just P.O.S.?
I agree about the Aztek part... mini Azz! I don\'t like the wheel wells... reminds me of BEETLE... rims are eww and the placement of the antenna is not right either.
Then again... this is internal thinking and unintentional comparison to what looks right (in my mind) which is all Mazda3... :)

the only problem is if it was sold in north america it would be built in North America. Ford US/Canada would then screw up a good car. Hence why the focus we have is crap.

That interior totally reminds me of something that came out of a VW

ALright Cumulative reply from all the previous posts in this thread:
I don\'t think it looks like an Aztek. If anything it loks like a Malibu Maxx from Xhevy, although I must say there are some lines that make it unique and pleasing to the eye. More so than a Maxx or Aztek.
Granted the headlights DO look a little 350Z-ish but other than the signal/reflector on the side, I think it looks like the 05 focus.
It has a very pleasent looking interior. however I\'m still skeptical. Pictures always look good. And seeing that this is a Ford...
finally... my two cents. I think there is no doubt that if they brought it over EXACTLY as it is in europe, they would have a hot seller. But FoMoCo of NA seems to screw things up too easily. I personally wouldn\'t buy one just because that sort of car doesn\'t fit my personality. I have never been a domestic car fan, so the only way that I would buy this car is if the test drive experience was better than my 3\'s

Agreed. I have a buddy who moved here from London England. He says the European Focus is the best car he\'s ever drove. He would buy one in a second if the the Canadian Focus was anything like it.
But it\'s not so he avoided the focus at all costs.

Sadly Ford will not be bringing that platform here, from what I\'ve heard. Otherwise the competition would have to watch out.
I agree with the lights looking similar to a 350z, while the hood reminds me of a Subaru Legacy or even the front end of the hood of an Impreza with a gentle slope (the bird\'s eye view pic), IMO.

Actually, the hood of that car is freakeshly close to the hood of the Mazda3 Sport. I guess that makes sense tho, same platform.
