I was just wondering what level of octane you all use...

Regular (Bronze)
Plus (Silver) or
Premium (Gold)

I usually go for silver, am I wasting my money???
Bronze has enough octane for our engine needs right?? I just always
think that that fuel is for old domestic clunkers.

Hi Ray, I\'m not a guru with cars so I honestly don\'t know if you\'re wasting your money but I personally buy regular (87 octane). :)

Use the Premium fuels for engines with high compression ratios, super/turbo chargers and vehicles that originally needed leaded fuel.

The manual recommends 87 Octane, so I go for 87 Octane.

Higher octane fuels sometimes have additives that will eventually build up in your engine if your engine isn\'t designed to use it.

I\'m using 87 octane as well...

Although I recently filled up at Shell instead of Esso...Not sure if its all in my head but I notice a bit more \"pep\" from Shell gasoline

my 2cents..

:)
