New member, just bought 07 Mazda3 Sport GT

Hi, I just bought a 07 Mazda3 Sport GT 5-speed to replace my 03 Protege5.

On the test drive around town it was great but after I bought it I realized it didn't handle bumps well on the Highway. I did some research, found this forum and took the car to Jimmy at Street Performance. He recommended replacing all four shocks and the passenger side motor mount.

I was amazed at how fast and reasonably priced Jimmy's work is. The car now handles like a dream.

Yes. You'll be able to edit your posts after you've hit a certain number of posts (100? 50? Can't remember..)

did you manage to get anything from the seller considering the shocks were toast? Can't imagine passing safety with that

Welcome, lots of members on the forum have used Jimmy and had excellent things to say about it.

If you haven't replaced the shocks, just go ahead and get coilovers and lower it :) haha

No, I didn't bother trying. I did go back to the mechanic who did the Saftey but he said that the shocks were fine because they weren't leaking.

That's too bad, at least it seems to be fixed now
