View Full Version : Mazda 2004-2009 compared to 2010-2013 for 2.0 motors

Is there any real difference between these two motors. They look like they are identical in engine bay pics. I was just wondering because if they are the same, then there is so much more aftermarket engine components for the 2.0.

Brakes are one thing. I'm talking about the engines. Like could i put gen 1 lightweight pulleys on my gen 2? Or could i put gen 1 headers on my gen 2. Anyone know?
