Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone has deleted just their rear cat but left the resonator in. Everything else stock. Would love to hear it if possible.

Thank you!

you're talking about replacing with a racepipe, or testpipe not sure but it's just a straight piece that eliminates the cat.

you can buy the piece from Ultimate Racing for around USD $150

I don't see the point of eliminating any cats on a Mazda3

Other than make it difficult to pass an etest? Noise.

(Disclaimer, not sure if there is an 02 sensor after the cat, haven't worked on enough older Speeds, but all I can think of would be better airflow)

Oh, doesn't matter then just noise, you posted a like to a pipe for a speed... That's why I thought we were talking about turbo.

Yeah, it's just a 3, not a speed 3. Wanted to try an grab a few more ponies without too much noise, which is why I don't want to delete the resonator. This CAT is unsupervised, so no CELs. Thanks for the input.

No extra ponies unfortunately.
