hey i was wondering if anyone was thinking about polishing there rims to give them the chrome look? does anybody know any info on polishing rims?pros cons price maintenance how long it takes? where does it?
personally i think it would look real nice...

to each his own...it\'s your car, dress it up however it pleases you. ;)

try Carcone\'s Auto Recycling (http://www.carcone.com/) and see if they polish the rims. they do wheel refinishing so polishing should be simple enough.

There would definitely be more people willing to dress up the engine bay rather than polish their rims.

i think this would fall into 2 categories:

polishied rims - bling bling
painted spark plug wires - rice

*please pleaaaase i hope i didn\'t start a flamewar :( *

so yah to each their own but i don\'t think the 3 is an escalade ;)

Whenever I go to Wheels Direct I play with the spinners they have on display.

When I was walking from (the farthest corner from the entrance of the WalMart parking lot) one time, I saw this Dodge Neon with spinner hubcaps on it. They were so cheap they were blowing in the wind like a pinwheel. I didn\'t know whether to be embarrased or feel sorry for the owner of that car....

I think I saw an IS300 with spinners... it was on the highway but at least some extreme BLING BLING rims it has....
