Hey everybody. Which brands of oil and coolant do you use for your Mazda 3s?
Is there an optimum brand of oil and coolant to use ? Or does it not matter at all?

Im going to be in need of an oil change and a coolant refill soon, so any help would be appreciated :D

I\'m sticking with what the dealer uses for oil and coolant. I don\'t have the means to change those fluids myself.

Mobil 1 0w20 motor oil. It has been getting great UOAs (Used Oil Analysis) at bobistheoilguy.com and has been reported that it has the best Mobil additives to date in it.

if you bring 5L of the stuff to Avante (it takes a shade over 4L ...~4.25L), they will put it in for you....that\'s what i did when i took the car in for the 16,000km service and to have them check the rear brakes.

I topped up my coolent (since Erin Mills didn\'t do it for me :p) with some Motomaster anti-freeze/coolent stuff...seems to work perfectly fine.

Mazda just came out with it\'s very own long life antifreeze. It covers a whole range of vehicles wether your car has green coolant or red coolant.

The Mazda 5W20 is only a semi-synthetic. The Mobil 1 0W20 is a full synthetic and is gaining popularity among owners who\'s vehicles require 5W20.
