squeaking noise when I start engine.

my car: 2012 mazda 3 gs-sky (6sp manual)
ODO: 52000km


I can hear very short squeaking noise when I start engine. (just one squeaking noise)

There is no squeaking noise while I am driving and shifting gears.
There is no squeaking noise when engine is idling.



Case study (X= No squeaking noise / O= squeaking noise )

1. Cold start in the morning or afternoon : X

2. After driving more than 50km, I stop the engine, then I start engine. : X

3. After driving more than 50km, I stop the engine. After 10~20 min later, I start engine: O

4. When I release cluth padal quickly in 1st gear (RPM drops under 500rpm) : O

5. When I release cluth padal smoothly in 1st gear: X

6. There is no squeaking noise while I am driving and shifting gears.
There is no squeaking noise when engine is idling.



I think the squeaking noise is happen from engine belt when the engine is medium hot and RPM drops lower than 500. (I am not sure.)

what is the problem in my car?

How to solve it?


Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

YOU ARE RIGHT.

I went to dealer service dept.
The problem came from engine mount No.4.

Technician changed the mount to brand new one. ( I did pay nothing because of the warrant)
Thank you for your help.



When I went back home, I realized that electric setting was reseted. (Clock and Trip mileage)
I think the technician remove and reinstalled the battery when he installed new engine mount.

Here, I have a question.

ECU should be updated whenever battery is removed and installed?
