Wondering if anyone else has had problems with their door acuators making a whuring sound when door is locked. I had my drivers side replaced and now the left passengers needs to be replaced. Dealer Suggested in a round about way that the undercoating I get yearly is the cause. Anyone that's gets yearly undercoating had this issue? Have appt tomorrow to get undercoating done.

2010 here and I get it occasionally, but mainly when it's cold - it's random as well. My car is Krown'd but I know others without rustproofing have the noise as well.

My car isn't under coated, but mine makes a whirring if the door is already locked and I try to lock it again, or if the remote start relocks it again.

Mine are noisy as hell, atleast the driver side front/rear but they've been like that since I got the car in May, and I got it undercoated in October.
So no it's likely not a result of your undercoating.
