Parts(Brandsto buy and Stores to buy from)?

Hi guys just had my car in for its last service before warranty is up so now ill be doing all my own work. I need front brake pads and rotors probably a air filter and cabin filter. Anyone have a good source to buy parts from preferably closer to Milton/Guelph area. And is there brands to stay away from or suggestions to go with ?
