wasn\'t hard to remove at all...I didn\'t even have to use a heat gun or goo gone or anything....just dental floss
looks a lot cleaner now...like a TSX and the JDM Axela

Good job, but the one thing that sticks out on your car that isn\'t very \"Axela\" is the stock antenna.
You need to get one of these (Official Mazda3 JDM Stubby Antenna):

That will complete your conversion.:hoho

Even with the side moldings on, if a grocery cart hits your car it\'s going to leave a dent.

Beautiful!
Everything you\'ve done so far looks amazing - b/c it\'s clean and had that \"stock\" look, except better :)

Thanks!
I\'m going for the \"OEM plus\" look using OEM Accessories and JDM parts. In fact, the only aftermarket mods I have are the suspension and the tint. I might be going aftermarket on the exhaust though...I want the AutoExe exhaust!!

autoexe can u help me by explaining to me how u did such a great job removing the molding, i have the same color 05 mz3 and ive been wanting to remove the moldings since the first day i got it but i want to get it done clean like yours came out..
much appreciated..
All you have to do it start at the front end with some fishing line or floss and work your way behind the trim and then just pull it off. There is no holes or anything behind it the only thing that could happen is some glue gets left behind when you pull it off but all you have to do is roll it off. Should take like 10 minutes and it always looks the same.
Yeah, just use dental floss. After you remove the first 5cm or so you can pull off the entire stirp of trim - it\'s very flexible. Just use your fingers to remove the remaining glue (shouldn\'t be much), wash it, and you\'ll be good to go. :)
