I\'m a graphic designer and photographer.

I work for a design and print company in Pickering. I do a lot of graphic design work for TELUS, and the MS Society. So if you ever need anything done (business cards, logos, brochures, well- anything really), I\'d be happy to help.

I studied photography all through high school and while in college for graphic design, and I just recently starting into wedding photography. I\'m also trying to make it a side career for portraits, engagement photos, etc.

Plastic injection mould making, it\'s a family business my old man started in 1981. I do some design work and handle the book keeping. It also comes in handy whenever I need to work on something in the machine shop.

I\'ve seen what Jesse James and Chip Foose use to make rims. I\'ve got the machinery and software, I keep telling my brother we should do it as well.... ;)

Exactly, specialist in Eco and Geog. I began with B.Com but couldn\'t get in after 1st yr. I started with ECO100 and didn\'t want to waste the credit, so I stuck with Eco for another 3-year, didn\'t like it.... oh well. Geography (esp. urban geog) was fun. I\'m glad that I picked this program, something that I actually liked.

I look forward to Transit Planning and Scheduling... Meanwhile, I\'ll continue to obtain my operation experience :D

Geography in tha house!

I went to Waterloo and got a Bachelor of Environmental Studies majoring in geography. I didn\'t really get into the GIS aspect which is a shame because I could have really used it when I graduated. Back in the day (of DOS and Windows 3.1 which didn\'t even include Internet Explorer) computers were so slow and hated having to go to a lab until the wee hours of the morning to work on projects. I did enjoy remote sensing and satellite photo analysis though. I don\'t know why, but the Geography department insisted on using Macs while every other department was using PC\'s, that was the icing on the cake. If I had to spend hours working on computer assignments, I made sure it was from my place and not a lab which alienated me from my own department. :sarc

Working on contract, looking for a full time opportunity still. Failing that, I\'ve enrolled part time at York University, and will get my CA designation.

Engineering be damned for all I care!

As for where I work, well lets just say it makes perfect sense that I\'m looking to buy an import vehicle.

I\'m an associate financial advisor, and a wireless sales rep for a company that deals with Rogers.

Yes, before you ask, I can hook people up with cell phones on the cheap. That, and I do investments, cash flow, and retirement and protection planning.

Anyhow, as far as school goes, I was a full time student at U of Windsor for International Relations, but had to move to the GTA a couple months ago because of a family emergency. And in my 3rd year!

I\'m trying to get into York University for the winter 2006 semester.

Excellent! There are two of us now. I work as an Associate for a private practice.

My dream is to design is a 12-storey block of flats combining classical neo-Georgian features with the efficiencies of modern techniques. The tenants would arrive in an entrance hall, carried along the corridor on a conveyor belt in extreme comfort, past murals depicting Mediterranean scenes, towards the rotating knives. The last twenty feet of the corridor are heavily soundproofed. The blood pours down these chutes and the mangled flesh slurps into these large....

Hatch hired my friends with 3 first round offers. Two weeks before the coop term started, they all received emails from HR stating that the position was terminated. All 3 tried contacting them by phone for a better explanation, but received no other answer. So they all had to look for jobs during exam time.

Don't get me wrong, hatch seems like a good company just don't like the way HR handles things.

Which positions and when? There weren't as many summer students this year as last year. In fact, there wasn't even a special team building event or lunch n' learn program this year.

The majority of the students that do get summer jobs and then full time positions afterwards are from Kingston University.

I was hired last year in a weird way - bypassing the normal HR search route, likely because I joined marketing, and after the summer student program began.

IT Support/Programmer for a small office. Basically, anything dealing with electronics that deals with computers falls under IT support (Cell Phones, computers, fax, copiers, printer, etc). Also program in a few custom programs for the office as well as create new custom programs. One such recently is what is amounting to our own version of MS Paint.

I'll send you a PM
