After being a member of TM3 for many years (mainly to discuss non-Mazda topics) I have finally joined the owner's circle. I picked up my 2012 Skyactiv Sedan in Graphite Mica this afternoon. For a car with 50K the condition is great inside and out (except for a door dent that'll need PDR'ing). The car is standard SA trim except for the sunroof and 3M clear bra on the hood/bumper. I'm more enthusiastic about the 3M stuff as I drive on the highway a lot and my previous car had many stone chips all over the front. A sunroof is a bonus (my old car had it) but I rarely used it.
When I first saw the car it had two Weathertech mats in the trunk (the original dealer who sold the car said the owner bought all-weather mats with then they purchased the car). Unfortunately at pick-up I found the mats did not fit my car (they might have been from another Mazda the dealer had in stock/sold). I knew previously that the car was not traded with the cloth OEM mats so all I had now were the dealer's paper mats. Straight to Findway I went to purchase a set of their custom-fit mats. I must say, they look great (just like OEM) and if they resist water/salt like the videos show I'm happy.
Coming from an Acura EL the car is definitely quieter and more powerful off the line. 2 hours in and 20-odd KM driven I'm happy! Zoom Zoom!
