View Full Version : Left Mirror Heater not working.. Replacement process/duration?

Hey guys.

I noticed my left mirror's heater isn't working. I was looking at my right mirror and it seemed fine compared to my left, which isn't as clear as the right.

Would this have to be replaced? How long would the duration for this process be? Would it be simply parting out the mirror panel and replace?

I've an extended warranty that covers my heater systems.

'12 Mazda 3 GS Hatchback, FYI.

Thanks!

just pop off the mirror glass, unplug the wires from the mirror, plug the new one in, pop it in

Is it the mirror that needs to be replaced or ...?

Thanks for the reply

You can buy just the glass with the heater in it.

But if you have extended warranty you might as well use it.

would it not still be under 3 year warranty? just take it to the dealer if so..and who knows here whats wrong and how long take it to someone in person to allow them to do the job they can tell you how long replacement takes and what you need.
