Well I ordered my plates probably 6-8 weeks ago. I just got a letter stating that my choice \"MZ SP33D\" is viewed as a \"violent connotation\"... WTF!! thats nuts. Now they are sending my money back, and I have to wait 6-8 weeks!! So this whole process is like 3-4months and I am no further ahead!!

See if they accept 3M TA3.:)

Perhaps they looked at it reverse, or upside down, what could they see that we don’t? Perhaps it was taken already, and they used the wrong rejection code.

You can always appeal it, call the Licensing Assistance Office in Downsview at (416) 235-2999.

I\'m only guessing but they may have taken it as \"must speed\" so anything that even remotely looks like \"speed\" may end up being red flagged immediately.

I wonder if they\'ll reject BLUNTMAN. ;)

How can they reject that one when they let through the plate i saw on the weekend. It was one of those graphic plates that has the heart with the letter \"I\" in it. The plate read FURBUGR.

When expanded it reads \"I Love Fur Burger\".

That has to be the best plate i\'ve seen yet. Why let that through and not MZ SP33D

Oh perhaps the word sp33d means you are on drugs......

I don\'t see why they would reject that. There\'s a Supra on the road with plates KATCHME or something like that.

Now BLUNTMAN I would like to see that.

dammit!!!!

the other day, i was coming up with diff licence plates (with my coworkers) and gotmilf attracted the most attention :D - too bad i don\'t have a car yet.. and DAMN it\'s taken.. oy :(

anwyay.. can anyone shed some light on the time it takes to get plates? i know it\'s roughly 212 bux but how long from time u order to time u get them? thx

supposed to be like 6-8 weeks, or maybe 4-6 :sarc

I ordered mine on 08-30 and got the rejection letter yesterday dated 09-24

Hope that helps a bit
