Glad to announce 2 different Open Houses for people who want to drive their cars the way they were meant to be.

First off, the Mobil 1 Time-Attack and Autoslalom series starts at JRP in Mississauga (2344 South Sheridan Way) at 11:00 AM on Saturday Mar 28. This is where you can sign up for either the Time-Attack or Autocross series, join a CASC club, get the low down on any rule changes for the year and pick up some serious discounts from JRP. There is also special discounted pricing available for any of newly expanded Mobil 1 Time-Attack events and schools.

The Oshawa Motorsport Club will be offering discounted memberships which allow for discounts at all OMSC organized Autoslaloms as well as wheel alignments at Clarington Hyundai. Basically means club membership is free.

If you aren’t quite sure what you would like to do with your car but know you like the idea of driving fast, you may want to come to the Oshawa Motorsport Club Open House at Clarington Hyundai (17 Spicer Sq, Bowmanville) on Tues April 7 after 7 PM. This evening is planned to give new folks an idea of what is involved in the Canadian Autosport Clubs various disciplines including Autoslalom, Time-Attack, Wheel to wheel racing and Ice Racing.

We will also have a presentation on the Ontario 1500 due to run this September. The Ontario 1500 is the Canadian answer to One Lap of America and runs at all the road race tracks in Ontario. It includes time attack, drag racing and slalom driving all within a one week period.

Last year, more Mazda products entered the Mobil 1 Time-Attack series than any other manufacturer.

This year the series expands and now goes to every road race track in Ontario. With 2 schools, instruction and lapping only options in the morning of events and the ability to run one event or the whole series with virtually any modification to your car, this series offers incredible flexibility and variety.

If you just want to start with a small investment in time and money, autoslalom gives you a great bang for your buck and if you are interested in higher speed antics without the cost and hassle of owning a "race" car, tow vehicle and trailer, Time-Attack might be for you.
