significant others coming to meets?

guys and girls alike, do your SOs enjoy tagging along, or do they stay home or do other things b/c it\'s boyz/girlz/car bonding time or are they excited about your car? so i guess my question is, do your gfs/bfs/wives/husbands etc come to meets? why/why not?

My GF tends to come to most if she isnt working/other plans. Its more about meeting new people//old friends and chatting. albeit, it usually starts with cars lol. Its more hanging out than hardcore car stuff. She can get bored with parking lot meets that take hours, but if food or relaxing is involved she doesnt mind.

sometimes i feel weird just asking questions all the time and then it\'s like \" so which is your car\" umm.. it\'s in my head for now :D

Significant others are more than welcome to our meets. It\'s not just for drivers.

In gerneral, because of the location of our meets, BBQs are not recommended. Drinks however (non-alcoholic) are welcome.

I don\'t think you\'d be that bored... we have had people who don\'t have a Mazda3 come to the meet, and from what I have heard, they have had a great time.

My gf came to two of the meets (I\'ve been to all five so far) and she\'s very happy of my being part of this club. At first she was thinking once a month (for the meets) was too often but after I told her about other car clubs where meets happen once a week (obviously they are regional meets), she didn\'t bring up the issue again. :)

She was there at Meet #5 but due to her school work load, she opted to stay in my car and study.

Like I mentioned in another thread, the gf came to one meet and that was more than enough for her, she\'s just not into cars. Fine by me, so I don\'t feel guilty if she is sitting there bored while I chat it up with the boys...and the ladies repin\'

As I mentioned before, my girlfriend liked the last meet I attended. I thought she would be bored, but she liked all the different mods on the cars as well as she likes to take pictures. So I would also encourage others to bring their gf/bf so maybe they won\'t feel left out. :D

My GF hates coming to meets just like I hate staying home with her to watch sex in the city...so i\'m usually at meets solo.

My girlfriend came to the first meet that I attended. She hung out with jimdragons8\'s girlfriend. My girlfriend does not mind comming as she likes cars.
