I was at street performance last week and Jimmy told me that my MAF connector wires are worn out. In order to fix this problem he told me to get a MAF connector with the wires. Does anyone know where to get a used one from?

junk yard would be a good bet. if you could make it to jimmy, then you can make it to standard auto wreckers down steeles

My MAF sensor broke down again. i couldn't see any wiring issue but the car keeps jerking and the CEL goes on and off. I'll have to do it somewhere local since Jimmy is too far away.

Yes i got a corksport SRI. This thing is driving me nuts i can't drive it to work since im afraid it would cause another engine problem.

Try un clipping the MAF harness from the box. Also try putting back your stock intake. See if those help.

Well the problem is the wiring not the intake. When I try to hold the wires the car starts jerking and the CEL stays on. If anyone got a decent MAF connector please let me know.

If you're out in Mississauga area, Cooksville Auto Recycling is pretty good. Call 'em up and see if they'd cut one out for you. Make sure you get at least 6" or wire with it.

The intake may be stretching the wires. Very common on 1st gen 3's with intakes

Yeah that's my observation. I'll contact Cooksville auto and see what they got. However, I'm willing to meet up if someone got one for sale :)

GO to a wrecker yourself and cut it off the car. There's Mike's Auto Parts in Hamilton that has a 'u-pick lot'. A lot of wreckers won't do your dirty work for you.
