If anyone is interested this badge is available just like the Mazdaspeed Protege one. I know it\'s rice but at least it\'s an OEM part.

If you wanted to.... it might looks good replacing the 2.3 on the GTs...

but $43??? I donno... those badges better do something more than what\'s in the picture in the first post.

no I mean the Mazdaspeed badge.... $43 for an emblem? That\'s insane. No offence to Flipspeed or anyone, but that\'s outragous.

damn that is expensive.. i was thinking u said the light up door badges are 43.. i\'d be all over those like flies on poo.. :D

but for a \'speed emblem... too much.. then againg.. i really like that SP23 badge and i saw it on egay for i think 60 bux.. ouch.. why is plastic so expensive? is it in short supply? :sarc

I wouldn\'t put an SP2.3 badge on my car for the reason that my car isn\'t an SP.

if anything I want people to underestimate my car.

It\'s like those people who drive beat up 3 series and stick an M badge on it... Why? When you get smoked by someone thinking they are racing an M, you\'re going to feel so stupid.

Now... if you were driving an M3... and you pit a 325 Ci badge, it would surprise the daylights out of whoever is racing you.

I totally agree with Xenon, I get more satisfaction having a sleeper under the hood and smoking them to the next stoplight.

Has anyone ever seen those imports driving around T.O. that look so ricey that you want to feel sorry for the owner. I\'ve seen guy\'s flying around Etobicoke with those bolt on RAM AIR hoods and I just shake my head everytime.

Now I\'m not trying to insult anyone who like\'s add on trim that dresses up the looks of a car, to each their own, but it\'s just not my personal preference.

what\'s an SP? i didn\'t mean speed..

it\'s the australian version of our mazda3.. same engine and same output look here.. (http://www.mazda.com.au/specifications_pl.cgi?ID=45)

so it\'s not like i\'m saying i have the mazda speed or a turbo.. it\'s like saying

mazda3GT (can) = mazda3s (usa) = mazda3 SP23 (aus)

Holt on hood scoops are the WORST thing you can do... Think about it... the air gets trapped inside... it\'s like a mini parachute on your hood...

Unless the scoop has a hole in the hood leading to an intake or something, it\'s actually worse to put it on the car.

I know it\'s one of the worst things you could do to a car, but I\'ve seen it more than once, just boggles the mind doesn\'t it ?

I totally agree, but whatcha gonna do :D

Let\'s go nab some KIA Spectra5 emblems or Chevrolet Optra emblems for your car, Xenon!! :)

haha j/k... now if i were to strip the 2.3 and get the red taillights... then maybe I can pass my car off as a 2.0L.
