Just joined the site because I have seen some posts about replacing the combination switch that was way over the top and I didn't see the quick solution and figured it out on my own. Anyway. My combination switch (turn signal) on the right side was not cancelling after the turn so I googled it and everyone seems to want to pull the steering wheel off and the air bag and a whole lot of other stuff. Not necessary. 4 screws, 1 connector and a new/used switch. I fixed mine in under an hour including the trip to the wrecker as the new switch is $180. Start by removing the 2 screws underneath the trim that surrounds the steering column, then pull the rubbery cover from the top trip piece and remove. Then on the left side you will see the switch. Remove the 2 small screws and carefully pull the switch out of it's slot. Then disconnect the connector from the switch, throw old switch on the ground and smash it with a hammer, reinstall is the reverse. No pulling of anything. I did open the old switch up and it's a cheap piece of plastic that breaks off if you hammer on the lever too hard. Piece of oem crap as per usual...should be a recall. ciao
