Hey guys,

Well Here is what happens. MSN is shutting down, and signing me in repeatedly (read every 20seconds or so). However here is what is weird:

Internet connection is fine.
Does this to multiple accounts, only on one machine.
other machines hooked to router are fine
Did an Adaware scan
have replaced the ethernet cable
Did a system restore to a point when the issue want happening

So only on one comp this happens. I am running MSN 6.2. Any ideas?

Thanks
~JOHN

If you\'ve got XP, try using just \"windows messenger\". If that works, uninstall and reinstall MSN. If it doesn\'t work, you\'ll need to get this special \"tool\". Goto your local hardware store and find the biggest sledge hammer they\'ve got. Apply liberally to your computer. All fixed :)

I\'m using MSN 6.2, XP Pro, but don\'t have the problem you memtion.

Try look at \"option\" for the MSN, and reset any changes, hope this\'ll work.

Sometimes it\'s the internet settings...

Under Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Security

Check that the box marked \"Check For Server Certificate Revocation (requires restart)\" is UNCHECKED.

If that doesn\'t work, try posting a message in Microsoft\'s Technical Newsgroup Forum for MSN Messenger (http://communities2.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.msn.messenger&cat =en-us-msn&lang=en&cr=US). If you just browse through it, I\'m sure you\'ll find someone with the similar problem and a reply from a .NET MSN tech.

I go there (http://www.microsoft.com/communities/default.mspx) all the time when I have trouble with any Microsoft Product. It\'s pretty useful.

Umm, this is cleared up by now right? We all know MSN is having major connection probs and server probs as of late. Thus my not even bothering with trying to log in... it always tells me the server is busy LOL

Yea, I waited, and took both comps outta the DMZ, and took off all the stupid port forwarding and port Triggering that Linksys had me do and its all good. That should show them.

There second level tech was a dumbass to, and I schooled her, So she told me I needed to buy a new router:sarc

Dont worry its not you pc its msn. They might be \"updating\" there systems and making it \"beter\". Everyone really is having that problem currently, some more then others and effects certain people at different times.
