Been 20 years since I last said this... But I guess I'm officially a college man.
Decided to take some night courses at Centennial to gets me some higher edumacation.
Zombie back from the dead congratulatory bump!!
Well done on you edumacation. Lol.
Well, started the afternoon with a thing that sucked. (See post if you are interested.) So decided to try my luck with the Mazda. Called my mechanic in Richmond Hill and got a same day appt to check my brakes. They were making a clicking sound. Got them fixed up and since they did a brake job on the fronts about a month ago, they didn't charge me. I was there less than half an hour. It went up on the hoist, wheels dismounted, fixed the problem and off I went. Just happy they are fixed and no annoying sound.

BUMP
Earlier in the summer I had a speeding ticket for 25 over up north - lowered to 19 over by the OPP officer. I produced all the documents, he thanked me for having valid (current) insurance and we had a short conversation about the legality of LED light bar use ect. He was a nice guy.
I received a refund cheque in the mail today for the amount I paid for the ticket saying that he was late in filing the ticket. THATS AWESOME, and just in time for the holidays.
What's even better was I called the OPP dept who directed me to the Provincial offenses office who confirmed the same - he only had 7 days to file the ticket - it was late filed and was not accepted by their office. I was told it wont be on my record / MVR and that it will be treated as if it had never happened.
This means I also wont lose my conviction free discount on my insurance upon renewal (15%). SO HAPPY. lesson learned.

Lesson learned - Treat police with respect and there’s always a happy ending.
He probably filed it late on purpose
