Dave's 2009 Speed3

For those of you that don't know I grabbed this car back in June with 100k after my GT got violated.

I'm the third owner it's pretty clean and I plan on keeping it pretty clean. Original plan was to get some 9" wide wheels and split the difference a bit more between form and function but then I fell in love with these Mtechnica's and well that was that.

I was also going to re lip them to 9s (currently 9.5) but to my surprise rubbing is pretty minimal at my usual ride height so that's pretty well a bonus. I don't plan on tracking this car or anything like that so as long as I can take on and off ramps with speed I'm generally pretty happy.

Once these Nankangs die (came with the wheels) I'll probably pick up something a little better.

Aside from the bags and trunk install the only other mod (right now) is the short shifter which is the whole TWM shebang. Few more things need to make their way in from the GT but I don't think I'll run a lip or anything. I'm trying to save for a non daily project so I don't really think I'll do too much more to this, but famous last words right?

All of my cars have been massacres underhood thanks to crown.

The GT had an intake, header, strut bar, the typical points grabbers but it was all covered in a fine film of gross.

Speed is mostly the same.

Simple Green degreaser spray bottle, wipe down, light water rinse with engine running, then Armor All on a cloth.

15 minutes tops.

Nothing has changed but some nice people took new photos. Stereo will go back in eventually. Then it is most likely done.

A very small part of me wants to sell the wheels, pick up somethign cheaper, and use difference on truck.

But they look so damn good.

Why don't you tint your windows?

They have a slight tint actually. The fishbowl look has never really bothered me though. If I had my son in it more I might consider it.
